Technical Tours

Why submit an abstract ?

The call for abstracts is an opportunity offered to all waterways experts worldwide to showcase their knowledge, expertise and the latest technical innovations, while also raising them and their company’s profile.

At the beginning of October 2018, authors will be invited to submit abstracts relating to topics defined by the Smart Rivers 2019 scientific committee, giving them the opportunity to shape and influence discussion and to present their technical knowledge and skills to a global audience.

Submitted abstracts should be an overview of their proposed final paper based on their selected conference topic (See the conference technical topics in this leaflet).
On-line abstract submission will be easy to complete online.
Proposing authors whose abstracts are accepted will be expected to attend the conference, pay the appropriate fees, and make the presentation in person.
