Abstract :
*(250~1000 words)
The dislocation lock heads in double-lane ship locks is a new structural arrangement pattern, it has some advantages of less land occupation, environmental protection low maintenance cost and reducing investment, etc. This pattern has unique structural features, such as an expansion joint is built between two middle piers of lock heads, the axes of lock heads are not on same line, the earth pressure acting on side pier is dissymmetric. Due to few practical engineering cases and above structural features, the force mechanism and deformation behavior of dislocation lock heads in double-lane ship locks are unknown, the promotion and application of this structural pattern is limited. In order to investigate the mechanical characteristics of dislocation lock heads, a three-dimensional finite element model of dislocation lock heads in double-lane ship locks is established, then the interaction between two middle piers is researched by mixed finite element method, the influence of asymmetry earth pressure on stability against overturning of lock head is studied, and the distribution rule of earth pressure on side pier is obtained according to prototype observation data. The results show that the foundation stress in the joint of the two middle piers is large because that the interaction between them could not be considered in the plane design technique, the application point of the earth pressure and the overturning stability of side pier are obviously different from the general structure. To solve this problem, the corresponding control measures are put forward. The results in this paper will provide a theoretical basis for improving the design of the structural pattern .
